The Continent of Africa – A Primer for All Ages ("we", "the site") is a free educational resource. We collect as little information as possible.

What we collect

• If you create an account: your name, email address and password (stored securely and never visible to us in plain text).
• Your quiz answers and scores, study groups you create or join.

You can use the map, profiles and quizzes without an account. We do not use advertising, tracking pixels or sell data.

How it is used

Only to run your account, show your progress and display your name and points on leaderboards. Your email is never shown to other users.

Who can see your data

Access rules in our database ensure only you can see your own answers and progress. Leaderboards show only your name and point totals. Study group leaderboards are visible only to members of that group.

External links

Video links open YouTube or other third-party sites in a new tab. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
